Hey Grant,

Are we to infer, since there is no attribution, that you actually said this and are too humble to take credit?

C’mon guys. Beer feels good but so does cocaine. Sin is sin, don’t you think?

Yep, Ben Franklin. Thanks triciadk. I couldn’t remember who said it. I guess I’ve sort of taken it as my own faith-life motto and internalized it to such a degree that I forgot it wasn’t my own.

Does Cocaine make one happy? I thought it just gave people an energy rush of sorts.

This just goes to show how easy it is to jump from beer to cocaine…

From what I’ve heard cocaine does make people happy, indirectly. There are all sorts of different reactions, but one effect is that it may give you the confidence to do things you didn’t think you could do before, or the ability to overcome certain fears, social fears for instance. This leads to a degree of happiness I would imagine. Can anybody who is currently living in sin tell us more about this?

After danrueck’s insightful remarks about the natural transition from beer to hardcore drug use, I think my new motto will be:
“Hide the cocaine, Jesus found the beer”.
