Where is catapult going?

In part one of our retrospective, we offered a brief look back at catapult magazine’s origins as we celebrate ten years of publishing bi-weekly issues featuring the work of our volunteer contributors.  This virtual fire has been burning for a decade now, drawing folks from far and wide to the sights and sounds of storytelling about how we all attempt (and fail, and sometimes succeed) to live out our deepest values in our everyday lives.

At pivotal points such as these, it’s natural to look back, and also to look ahead.  Over the next several months, we’ll be exploring what it might look like to develop an editorial team with shared ownership of catapult’s content.  We’ll also consider how people’s use of the Internet has changed in the past ten years and how we might adapt.  What shifts do we want to account for?  What trends do we want to resist?  If you’d be interested in being part of this team, please let me know.

In the meantime, please explore the links to selected articles from 2007-2012 and post here about your own past favorites.  Thank you to all of our volunteer contributors for contributing stories and images to this collaborative project.  Here’s to the next ten years!
