I just heard a commentator on television say that one of the driving forces behind going to war soon as opposed to letting the U.N. weapons inspectors do their thing for another couple months is because of the weather in Iraq. Once March hits, it becomes too hot for American soldiers to fight in their chemical and biological warfare protective gear.

Interesting. I hadn’t heard this before.

True, but this is no surprise to the US military. They knew about these climate issues long before the buildup started. It’s an artificial deadline. The weather does cool off again.
