I’m not sure what to think of this—I wasn’t being terribly selective to prove a point here. It just so happens that American sources are the only ones to mention that the troops were shot at (in the headline). Non-American articles cast doubt on this, citing Iraqis who said the shooting began after someone broke a window with a stone.
