I’m curious if anyone has read Brian McLaren’s – [i:35b699554e]The Secret Message of Jesus.[/i:35b699554e] I picked it up this weekend and I’m about half way through. I would love to hear anyone’s honest opinions about the book or anything McLaren. If you’re going to blast him, please be fair.

I read it when it came out, though I wasn’t as wild about it as some of his earlier works.

It struck me as little more than a warmed-over apologetic for Anabaptists. All well and good, but hardly something that necessitated rewriting Yoder.
