The Onion is a great little paper that has been around for a really long time. Do they still make a print version?
If you like that check out www.satirewire.com – it has been closed for quite a while, but there’s a nice archive on it. I used to like it better than the onion when it was up and running.
www.satirenet.com has some decent stuff too. Not as good as the others though.

The Onion originated in Madison, Wisconsin and yes, it still comes out once a week and is available for free around the Madison area – and in Denver, Milwaukee and New York City, I believe. My husband reads it cover to cover and can tell you when they’re recycling old material. Kinda scary.

My favorite headline from the current issue is: “Plowshare Hastily Beaten Back Into Sword”.

Funny… and sadly poignant.

You can also pick it up in downtown Chicago. My favorite story was about two years ago. It was an explanation of how Satan was expanding Dante’s inferno, and what sort of sinners would go into the two new levels. Telemarketers, corrupt CEOs, and some other groups were targetted.
