Do you mean like old-time radio dramas?

I don’t know much about it, but I’m willing to learn.

I wasn’t thinking so much in the way of Old-time dramas, but those could be included. Here’s some sites that can give a better feel:
www.thislife.org – great NPR show
www.transom.org – training ground for new voices
www.stories1st.org – storytelling discussion
www.hearingvoices.com – interesting audio art
If you go to This American Life, check out the staff favorite entitled “Pray.” It pushed me to get more into this.

Maybe there should be a forum in the “arts” section called “other art forms” for things like this that come up.

Over the last months, I’ve gotten really into “This American Life” on NPR and then into other forms of audio storytelling and art. I just ordered my first Minidisc player last weekend (it was real cool. i started praying for the cash for one and a church just sent me the exact amount).
Anyway, I would definitely like to begin discussing storytelling and art through audio and was wondering if there was enough interest on these boards to do that. If so, let’s put up a new forum.
