i wanted to take a moment to welcome all of those who have registered on the site, but never posted. i read your profiles eagerly and hope to know you better someday, somehow.

i also wanted to start a thread only for those who have never posted before—those who are lurking, reading, thinking. so i thought i’d ask a non-threatening question to create a safe point of entry (and if this is the only time you ever post, that’s fine, too).

and now, the question: what is your favorite season of the year?

Labelling yourself as such does help to focus your energies, I think. Whenever you aren’t feeling like you are accomplishing anything with your life, you can just whip out a piece of paper, scrawl out some horrendous freewriting poem, [i:d50c26c4e5]and then if you stare at it long enough[/i:d50c26c4e5], you will probably figure something out about yourself, enough to continue making the wild claim that you can write.
