Hello,
We are Eric and Meggan Judge and just joined today. We ran across cino when one of our friends linked us to the site to read a transcript of David Bazan aka Pedro the Lion speaking at a conference at Calvin College. I (eric) am a student at Regent College in Vancouver BC and am in a masters course in New Testament. Meggan takes care of our two kids Noah (2 and a half) and Selah (1 year) and will start into her schooling to be a doula and then a midwife when we can. I don’t know if this is the place to say hello but I thought that I would take the time and do it. Cino sounds like a place that is exciting and it is encouraging to us to see there is a group of people wanting to think holistically and Christianly about all of life. Anyway, it is good to be here and we look forward to interacting with all of you. Take care,

Eric and Meggan

Greetings from 200 miles south.

Eric, what do you plan to do after school?

Wait…what do you mean? School has to end?

Just kidding…basically more school, although I, Eric’s wife (ocassionally known as Meggan), would like to have a “normal” life for once…but I wonder if that would be terribly boring…we shudder to suggest the possibility of getting a PhD, but here in Canada, that would mean either working in Starbucks or as a cab driver. But I guess there are worse things in life.

But seriously-Eric would love to teach, preferably in higher education, in the area of Biblical Studies…we would also love to go back to where we met and work there…in Wisconsin.

Welcome!

Meggan – I used a doula when I gave birth to my almost-2-year-old son and loved the experience! I just wanted to put in my plug (ha ha) for the profession.

excellent. I found this site reading the David Bazan article too. In fact, I’m going to see Pedro the Lion at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC tonight. Go ahead… you can be envious!

School does not have to end! (I am on my second Masters — though at this point it really has become a summertime occupation — I teach the rest of the time)

Doulas rock! (We researched them before our daughter was born and really wnated to use one, but didn’t get our act together in time. Maybe next time)

Welcome Paul!
