Is there a lawyer in the house?

I’ll be blunt. I’m looking for some cheap (free) legal advice about copywrite policies and infringement. Specifically I need to know about acceptable use for CultureVision (one of *cino’s projects dealing with multi-media discernment in high schools). Is anybody here a personal property attorney (I think that’s what I’m looking for) or know one who would be willing to answer a few questions? Anne maybe? or does your hubby focus strictly on governmental or corporate law? We could have a little double date and reminisce about the good ol’ days…and I could exploit your husband’s knowledge maybe!
Anybody else out there that I may not know about?

Hey Norb – like any good lawyer (ahem), my husband is very conservative when it comes to doling out advice in areas he’s not an “expert” in. But I will ask him what he knows about this kind of stuff. If you could give me more details, that would help. He’s bound to ask for specifics before giving any kind of answer.

Email me with more info. Then he can respond to you via email.

By the way, I’ll be in your area for a few days after Oct. 19. Would you like a visitor?

Norbert – I sent you three emails this morning. The last one of which is a link to some lengthy “copyright basics” info on the website of the U.S. Copyright Office. They could be a great resource if you’ve got questions (I’d even call them up).
