I just want to make clear that there is a marked difference between the “Christian Reformend” and “Dutch Reformed” churches. The two are not interchangable. I believe that in the Dutch Reformed church, those caught with peppermints during the sermon receive twenty days in the pillory and a sound whipping besides. To call them conservative is to call Al Gore charismatic.
