Um, isn’t this true of ANY profession? Postman’s not very insightful. Unless I’m missing a more abstract point.

Assuming “N. Postman” is the same as Neil Postman, author of “Amusing Ourselves to Death” (among other books), I actually find him to be very interesting. Which is why I don’t understand why that particular quote was selected. It’s not insightful as it stands posted. I’d like to learn more about the context in which is was written or said.
