The Soundtrack

Given that every movie has a soundtrack, Hollywood obviously wants music to compliment scenes in movies. So, my request is this: name a scene from a movie and the song that Hollywood matched to the scene that made – for you – that particular scene extra-funny, extra-touching, etc.

I’d have to pick “The Virgin Suicides” and the scene where we meet Trip Fontaine (Josh Hartnett) – the slow-mo scene of him strutting down the highschool hallway, one hunk of burning 1970s love, with Heart’s “Barracuda” playing. I actually slapped my knee, I thought that was incredibly funny and fit the cheeseball montage.
