It looks like they’re playing 7 pm at the Metro (which is only about a mile from where we live). Grant and I are considering going…looks quite interesting. You can read more about them here:

It would be a last minute, why-not-make-a-run-to-Chicago thing. Which, unfortunately, happens far more infrequently with kids than without. I’m doubting it, but there’s still a chance I guess.

We just got tickets…I’m totally excited. This looks like a once in a lifetime type of event. Norb, if you make it down you can spend the night with us. We could probably even arrange a babysitter. :)

It’s cool to see a few people here are going. I look forward to the chance to put some faces to some names. I’m coming up with my brother and a friend from Ohio. Just look for two skinny blonde kids that look almost alike (except one has longer hair) and a red-headed girl.

Apparently it’s a bit harder than we thought to find two blond guys and a red haired girl. We sort of followed one group that fit that description, but they didn’t respond when we yelled “Josh”.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed the show. It was quite something. What did you think?

I and some friends are heading up to Chicago for the show this Friday and wanted to tell others about it. If people aren’t familiar with the band just yet, my favorite description of them is “quasi-religious uplift.” They’re also kinda like Flaming Lips with a whole lotta people.
