Has anybody seen this film? It’s actually worth a look. It’s a story of two screwed up people who fall in love. How do they fall in love? She (inexperienced secretary still living in disfunctional home and likes to cut herself) takes a job for him (lawyer going through divorce). Turns out she’s turned on by being bossed around, humiliated, reprimanded for spelling mistakes, and getting variously abused by him. It’s love on first spank! He likes it too. It’s therapy for both and a lovely love story to boot. And please don’t anybody acuse me of enjoying this movie: I saw it with my medieval women gender theory class in which I’m the token male…
