I was wondering how many *cinites are anticipating this film?

Is there any interest in discussing Reloaded and where you think Revolutions will take us?

I just saw it last Saturday (and will probably finish up work on the domestic verion this week with foreign dubs to come). I would love to discuss it once everyone has had a chance to see it.

I was one of the few who loved Reloaded, but I think it is because I am always a sucker for the underdog…and any middle movie in a three part is an underdog. Two Towers suffered from much of the same…only the expectations were only 12 months old and not 36+. Reloaded was bound to be an uphill battle thus, the reason Revolutions is being released 6 months later.

One more thing about Reloaded is that you will want to wait to purchase the movie until the box set is released next year. There are about 45 more minutes of footage that are now only found within the video game (Enter The Matrix) that will be released with that box set. I am positive that the non-theatrical footage will anser alot of questions regarding Reloaded and most likely give you a new appreciation for the film.

OK…Revolutions. It is beautiful. It is very fast paced. The “battle” sequences are very very good and the animation is unmatcheable.
Actually I felt that the film (whilst still suffering from Warchowski’s 101 Philosophy mentality) was very good…but…there are a couple things that bothered me a bit and one that flat out caused me to scream, “NO!” Without giving anything away, I was desperately hoping the Brothers would not fall victim to the “open ended” syndrome (leaving room for future installments) but they did. Never fear…nothing has been divulged at all in this statement. I just get weary of the sme old and wish that someone would end a film with a Bang! and let it go with that. The dollar does not allow for that.

Sleek, stylish and very creative. Introductions to new characters (The Train Conductor) a reinvented Oracle and the slew of old faces. I am sure you will not walk away disappointed from this one as you did with Reloaded.

That enough?

And I am taking it that no one has been stunned speachless…
I felt like I was watching someone else play a video game for over 2 hours.

Saw it last Saturday…I absolutely loved it. I don’t understand why it’s getting such bad press. The ending is relatively ambiguous, but in such a way that I don’t really mind. Plus, the Brothers Wachowski are on record as saying that they intended it to be a trilogy and have no intentions of making future sequels, so unless they change their mind (but caving in to the almighty dollar never happens in Hollywood) I’m confident that they’ll let it be. The ending sequences were just plain beautiful, the battle scenes were great without being completely over the top, and I liked the new characters. Definitely one I’d recommend.

Please don’t get me wrong. I loved both of the sequels. I think the action packed story line was great! But I was brought to the realization that the Wachowski’s ideas about philosophy and religion are very elementary at best. Once I got past that, I was able to just enjoy the film for the art and action that it is.
