Is anyone as disappointed as I am about the loss of Elliot Smith?
Self inflicted stab wound…ouch!

I will miss Elliot Smith terribly. It is sad to see someone with such talent die so tragically. His music was so deeply personal that it is almost as if you knew him by just listening to it. I will miss him.

yeah, i’m pretty bummed about elliott’s death, too. i’m always amazed at how much the death of songwriters affects me. smith was especially poignant, too, which makes it even more difficult.

his death definitely hit me hard, as well. not only do i feel like i was influenced by him, but i agree that he seemed to open up on personal levels to the listener. i wish i knew more of what was behind the scenes with him.
