Hey everyone,

Has anyone else out there heard of this band? I hadn’t heard of them at all until i watched the documentary “DIG” which follows the divergent careers of BJM and the Dandy Warhols—a decent film. If you’ve not heard BJM, i do recomment checking them out—they are still making records and touring. My personal favorite album right now is “Thank GOd for Mental Illness” which draws heavily on several ’60’s influences—THe KInks, Gram Parsons, the Stones etc. but I think showcases Anton Newcombe’s real gift for song writing. Anyhow, my musical recommendation of the day.

Hey, good recommendation. I saw “Dig” a couple months ago. The members of the band didn’t come off all that well on the documentary, but the music will definitely survive and has been quite influential already, I think.
