In 2003, Stephanie Vande Kraats left Portland, Oregon, for the soggy fields of the Fraser Valley. Today, she divides her time between teaching English and doing dinosaur puzzles with her son. This fall, Stephanie will also assume a teacher-librarian role at Fraser Valley Christian High. A graduate of the English program at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, Stephanie later received an M.A. in teaching from George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. She is working toward a degree in Library and Information Technology at the University of the Fraser Valley and lives with her husband, Ryan, in nearby Aldergrove, BC.
