is this the same filter that pulled the reagan documentary? wait a second—or was the reagan documentary the filter? maybe the outrage from all those republicans that hadn’t even seen it was really the filter that protected us from the filter!

So what’s it like living with all those little Laryns in your head?

One thing I’ve learned in the last year is that government has more and better information than ordinary people like you and me, so we should just trust our government. For example, the government knew all kinds of things about Iraq that I couldn’t have guessed because I didn’t have access to the right information. It’s a good thing that our government doesn’t release the information too, because God knows that citizens can’t be trusted to interpret it in the right way. For example, citizens might form an opposing opinion.

dan, i see your point and I agree with you, but is biting sarcasm like that really helpful? I too remember those threads from last year where people were arguing that we should trust the administration because it knows more than we do, but you really should reserve judgement until the people looking for WMD have finished their job. It looks like they’re going to be re-assigned to security duties anytime now, but we should be patient and wait—at least til after the election. Until then we should continue to trust the administration and assume they know what’s in Americans’ best interest. And besides, isn’t it great that Iraq is free now? so dan, please reign in your sarcasm because its not helpful in promoting open and friendly debate on this subject. besides, you come across like a know-it-all, moralistic Canadian.

JabirdV, RE: all those little laryns in his head: he likes it.

Thanks, dan, for encouraging me in my rant.

Here’s something about how bush’s hollywood is following him to the UK (my emphasis): “The coalition says that it has also been told by British officials that American officials want a distance kept between Mr Bush and protesters, for security reasons and to prevent their appearance in the same television shots.
