A question for anti-war Americans

What does being anti-war at this point mean? Now that we ARE at war, are you rooting for Iraq, the “underdog?” And if you are, does that mean you endorse Iraq’s methods of attack, the torture and killing of American soldiers? Do you want America to lose?

If this is the peace movement … what’s treason?

Maybe juvenile, but if you think about it, George Sr. called him Saddam, the media then picked up on the moniker and then the general public. The easy meaning-change with Saddam’s name was perhaps the motivating factor in the constant repetition at that time of the name “Saddam.” Why we call people by their first names or both names, etc., does, in my mind, start with those individuals who have the most “credibility” in our culture when it comes to talking about those other individuals, George Bush Sr. being an example of how a particular way of addressing another world leader (Saddam) was perpetuated.
